Starting in Kona, we head south along the  Ali‘i Drive, where the ocean sparkles just a few feet away. Thought the hills we make our way to Captain Cook.

From there, we roll down the scenic Napo‘opo‘o Road to the ocean — a gorgeous downhill through lush greenery that ends right at the bay. At the bottom, we’ll stop for a well-earned treat at a local banana bread snack shack, famous for cyclists pit stops.

It’s the perfect mix of challenge and reward — beautiful climbs and breezy descents.

Experience the legendary route that has tested triathletes from around the world! Starting from Kona Pier, we roll north along the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway, tracing the official Ironman World Championship course.

Challenge yourself through the warm coastal breeze, the changing lava landscapes, and the famous rolling terrain that defines this world-class ride. Along the way, we have many stop options for a snack, photos, and a taste of what the pros experience on race day.

Kua Bay

Distance: ~20 miles round trip
Climbing: ~1,000 ft
Duration: ~2 hours

A ride perfect for soaking up the sunshine and island vibes. Starting in Kona, we head north along the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway, following gentle hills. We roll down to Kua Bay for a quick stop to enjoy the white sand and turquoise water before turning back toward town. — the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the Big Island.

It’s the perfect ride for casual cyclists, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy Kona’s beauty at an easy pace in good time.

Mauna Loa

Distance: ~19 miles  
Climbing: ~2,400 ft
Duration: ~2 hour

This ride begins at the start Mauna Loa Access Road where the air is cooler and the scenery feels like another planet. From there, we climb surrounded by endless fields of black lava and sweeping views of Mauna Kea rising across the horizon.

The ride continues to the point where the 2022 lava flow crossed the road. Quiet, remote, and visually stunning — this ride captures the spirit of Hawai‘i’s volcanic heart.
